St Wilfrid’s Hospice has been providing expert palliative and end-of-life care for over 35 years across parts of West Sussex and Hampshire. It now costs over £10.5 million per year to run the Hospice, and only 17% of these costs are funded by the government. The rest has to be raised independently.
Donations from Trusts and grant-making organisations make up a large part of this funding and have a massive impact on our ability to continue running the Hospice and its services. We are incredibly grateful for all of the grants that we receive, helping us to cover the operational costs of essential personalised care.
We are also very thankful to receive restricted donations, which contribute to funding specialised equipment, capital projects and building repairs.
Our commitment to funders
We are committed to giving our generous supporters the thanks and recognition they deserve. The support given to us by our funders is vital to the Hospice. Every donation, no matter what size, makes a significant difference to local people we support.
As part of our commitment to you, we warmly invite you to visit our Hospice and see the excellent care and facilities that you are helping to fund. We will also keep you updated on the work of the Hospice and how your donation has been used to help impact local lives.
