St Wilfrid’s Hospice is made up of a team of passionate staff and volunteers. We have over 250 staff and over 450 volunteers all playing their part to deliver vital hospice care to our local community.
Meet the St Wilfrid’s team
The Hospice is a registered charity governed by a Board of Trustees. Members of the Board are Directors under the Companies Act and offer their services in a voluntary and honorary capacity. The Trustees visit the Hospice and shops and meet regularly with the Hospice Senior Management Team.
The Senior Management Team are responsible for the day-to-day management of the Hospice.
Patients are cared for by our clinical and medical teams in the Hospice Community Team, Ward Team and Living Well Team. Our Family Services Team support loved ones and carers.
The wider Hospice team includes our Reception, Clinical Admin, Catering, Housekeeping and Facilities staff, our Fundraising Team, Marketing and Communications Team, and our HR, Finance and IT Teams. Our Retail Team operate our 12 shops and Donation Centres.
