Our inpatient unit

We have 14 bedrooms on our Ward (plus four more that we opened during the pandemic), many overlooking our beautiful and tranquil gardens. Each room has its own private bathroom and toilet and two of the rooms have facilities for loved ones to stay overnight.

People come in to our Inpatient Unit for a variety of reasons. We can help with difficulties such as pain, nausea or breathlessness that may be harder to deal with at home. We can help bring these symptoms back under control so that patients can return home to familiar surroundings and spend precious time with their loved ones.

Our facilities

Our new Hospice building is on Walton Lane, Bosham, near Chichester. We moved into our new building in 2019, and have fantastic new facilities including a 14 bed inpatient ward, which has been furnished to a high standard and with specialist equipment to aid your comfort and support independence.

We have our Living Well Centre and our Café at the Hospice, as well as beautiful gardens with over 100 varieties of plants tended by our volunteer gardening team.
