Accessibility

We work hard to make sure our organisation is accessible to all parts of our community. At our Hospice in Bosham we have wheelchair-friendly access and lifts, our team have undertaken Dementia Friends training, and if you have a hearing impairment we can wear masks that allow lip reading.

We relaunched our website in 2021 with the help of a grant, and the newly designed site has been developed with accessibility in mind. We have worked to the guidelines of the WCAG (a global body that provide guidance on how to make websites more user friendly for everyone) and believe we have achieved the Level AA Accessibility.

We have installed an Accessibility Toolbar on our website to help everyone access our communications. The tool include translations, speech reader, text sizes, colour changes and more. You can access the toolbar by clicking the icon which looks like a person in a circle, on the right hand side of your screen. Read more in our blog about the Accessibility Toolbar.

We want to maintain a well-monitored and easy to use website, so if you have any comments you can always get in touch with feedback via our Contact Us page
