Ways to support us in 2023
This year, there are many ways that you can get involved and help support St Wilfrid’s Hospice to continue providing expert care and compassion to local lives.
Challenge Yourself!
Ever wanted to run a marathon? Jump out of a plane? Do something that makes people go “You did what!”?
You can take on lots of amazing challenges with St Wilfrid’s while also fundraising to help us continue providing care to people with life limiting illnesses.
We have had many amazing challenges such as our receptionist Tillie jumping out of a plane 15,000ft in the air, or our supporters trekking across Inca.
The Great South Run is one of many upcoming challenges that you could take on, joining many others running 10 miles across Portsmouth, a great stepping stone to the London Marathon!

Remembering a Loved One
Losing a loved one is never easy and we have many services in place to help you best deal with grief.
Some people like to pay tribute to their loved ones and also help support the Hospice – for this we are extremely thankful for your kindness in such a difficult time.
We have many ways you can pay tribute to loved ones, including our Memory Tree and Much-Loved tribute page.
Volunteering
Our volunteers are vital to the work we do at the Hospice. We have lots of incredibly generous volunteers all across the charity that help us keep the Hospice running.
If you can spare just a few hours a week, it could help make an incredible difference to local lives. No matter where you are volunteering, whether in retail, on the ward or any of our other opportunities, you will be greatly appreciated and have a direct impact on the wonderful services the Hospice provides.

Shop with us
We have 12 Charity Shops across West Sussex and Hampshire, including two furniture outlets.
Our shops offer affordable, quality, pre-loved treasures that are just waiting to be given a new home. By shopping with St Wilfrid’s you not only get great items and save money but every purchase is going towards helping a patient.
