Easter Flower Workshop
Get Active with a special Easter flower workshop! In just over an hour you will be able to create a lovely Easter table wreath, whilst supporting local hospice care.
Sign up today and receive all the flowers a few days before your class and then join us online as your workshop teacher Libby teaches you how to make the wreath from home.
During your workshop you will learn to arrange the flowers and foliage on a 10 inch new biodegradable floral foam ring, which is plastic backed to aid with holding water. We will supply you with all the materials and guidance you need to make your own wreath to enjoy over the Easter holiday!
Joining the live workshop means gaining real time support from floral expert Libby from Rose & Ivy Floral Design – a locally based small business.
You can either follow along live on Thursday 1st April at 10am, or sign up at a discounted rate to receive a recording on how to make your wreath and do it anytime over the Easter weekend. Please allow for 1.5 hours for the workshop.
The kit will be supplied by from Rose & Ivy Floral Design and will include:
- flowers and foliage - to include Leucanthemum (big daisies), Tulips, Achillea, and Craspedia*
- 10 inch biodegradable floral foam ring
- a LED tea light (courtesy of St Wilfrids) to place in the middle of your arrangement
All you will need are some secateurs and to soak the floral wreath holder in water 24 hours before your workshop. Don’t worry – we will remind you. St Wilfrid’s Hospice will receive 50% of the profits from these workshops, which will go to funding vital care for those we are caring for now and in the future.
