Watercolours - Hampshire Recorder Sinfonia

Hampshire Recorder Sinfonia present 'Watercolours'. The 40-strong orchestra comprising seven sizes of recorder will be performing as part of this year's Festival of Chichester and will be raising money for St Wilfrid's DREAMBUILDING appeal.

The concert will take place at 7.30pm on Saturday 30th June at St George’s Church Whyke, Cleveland Road PO19 7AD. 

The concert is all about water and the sea and includes readings from actress Nimmy March (sister of the Duke of Richmond). Local sculptor, Vincent Gray, will also be unveiling the maquette of his proposed statue of Lord Nelson with Admiral Sir George Murray, which will be erected opposite Murray’s former house, now the Chichester Harbour Hotel, North Street.
