Volunteers are vital to St Wilfrid’s Hospice in helping us to deliver high quality care. It’s about making a difference to patients and their loved ones.
For volunteers, it can be an enriching experience and a way of making new friends, giving time and skills to the local community and developing new skills.
We want to recruit Trustees to join the St Wilfrid’s Hospice Board to help share the responsibility for governing the Hospice and directing how it is managed and run.
Volunteers, including Trustees, will give a brief presentation about their experiences of volunteering from 6.30pm to 7.00pm and will be on hand to answer questions through the evening.
If you want to make a difference to local lives please come along to our open evening on Wednesday, 25 July at the Day Hospice:

Since the Hospice opened in 1987 we have cared for over 17,000 local people and their loved ones, and volunteers have been integral to our care since the very beginning.”
