You’re braver than you think…
Join #teamwilf and experience the thrill of a lifetime! Take on a sponsored 10,000ft free fall tandem skydive for St Wilfrid’s Hospice and raise vital funds as part of our Leap 4 Love team! Jane MacDonald who jumped in July 2020 – “the most amazing thing I have ever done, I felt safe throughout. Free falling was something I will never forget. If you are thinking of doing it, I would recommend it.”
James Etheridge – who did the leap in memory of his brother who was cared for at St Wilfrid’s recently – “Don’t even think twice about doing it, just do it! It’s the closest you’ll get to feeling like you can fly. An experience that will stay with me forever, and all in the name of LOVE.”

Deposit and sponsorship
Your free fall parachute jump takes courage. You deserve to get sponsored for your Leap 4 Love and every penny that you raise counts!
There is just a £50 deposit to join our team and then we ask that you commit to raising a minimum £395 in sponsorship. Reaching your target covers the cost of your jump and means that a minimum donation of £220 comes straight to St Wilfrid’s Hospice. Every extra pound that you can raise over your fundraising target also comes directly to us and really does count.
We’ll be here to support you with all your fundraising, so if you’re ready to take the leap, then join our team today!
Take it to the next level ...
Once you’ve registered for your Leap 4 Love skydive at 10,000ft, you can choose to take it to the next level and upgrade to 15,000ft, which is the highest possible tandem skydive altitude in the UK! Give the GoSkydive team a call on 01722 568 655 to upgrade for an extra £59 or even decide on the day. Don’t forget to tell all your friends and family how brave you’re being and much their support is helping you in taking the leap!

A tandem skydive with GoSkydive
Understandably you might be feeling a little nervous – a freefall parachute jump isn’t an everyday occurrence! However, rest assured you are in safe hands with the GoSkydive team. They are the UK’s specialist for first timers and are the only skydiving centre in the world to offer a simulated training session before your skydive. Suspended in your harness you’ll be able to practise your freefall and landing positions before you jump!
Please check out GoSkydive’s website to discover what the day involves and your pre-Skydive check list
On the day of your tandem skydive you will need to sign a medical and information declaration form. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, GoSkydive will need your GP to sign a medical form. You will need to advise the team of any medical conditions well in advance, so they can ensure they are fully briefed on your needs.
The maximum weight for a tandem skydive is 18 stone fully clothed and if you weigh between 16 and 18 stone you will need to contact the GoSkydive team in advance. Please note that for safety reasons GoSkydive have to weigh all customers on the day of their jump.
There are no upper age limits, but you’ll need to be at least 16 to tandem skydive and if you are aged 16 or 17 you must be accompanied by an adult.
For full details, please see GoSkydive’s information pack for everything you need to know ahead of your jump.
