“This season, as the nights draw in, we’d like you to join us in remembering loved ones. Taking a moment to remember is so important. During the last 18 months the global pandemic has meant people have been fearful of the virus, may have not been able to visit loved ones, have not had the funerals or memorials they may ordinarily have wished for, and this can cause us to feel grief in many ways.

Join with us to remember your loved ones, be they recent losses or from many years ago, to picture them in your mind’s eye, remember good times and bad, and allow yourself to feel their absence. ”

James Cooper, Lead Chaplain at St Wilfrid’s Hospice
