Be a local hero and run the iconic seaside Brighton Marathon!
With an amazing atmosphere and beautiful sea views, the Brighton Marathon is the perfect event for all runners of all levels and experience.
Taking place on Sunday 20th September 2020, this seaside marathon starts in Preston Park, follows a route past the iconic sites of Brighton, and finishes in a wave of noise right by the seafront next to Brighton Pier.
Kari Mack, Auxiliary Nurse for St Wilfrid’s ran in Brighton Marathon 2017 and remembers the roar of the crowd:
“Deafening. That’s how I’d describe it, deafening from the bands and the crowd. Really supportive atmosphere and as our local marathon it was really great to be on home turf running past familiar sites.”
Ruth ran for St Wilfrid’s in 2019 had this to say about her Brighton Marathon experience:
“I can’t tell you how happy I am to have achieved this and being able to raise money for the Hospice made it doubly special. I have had so much support, messages, emails and texts from friends and family and of course all my lovely Bug friends. I’m not an overtly sentimental/emotional person, but I must say that I have been very touched by the whole experience.”
Join #teamwilf and every mile you run and every penny you raise will help us continue supporting families with first class palliative care.
