Volunteer for our Christmas Tree Recycling Scheme and kick-start your new year helping to create a greener local community and raise much needed funds for your local Hospice!
Become a Christmas Tree volunteer for St Wilfrid’s Hospice and help us collect and recycle Christmas trees throughout the local community from 6th to 26th January 2021.
In partnership with Chichester District Council, and supported by the Woodhorn Group, the trees you help to collect will be recycled and used to create their range of Earth Cycle composts and topsoil's, contributing to a greener local community.
Your hard work will also help to support St Wilfrid’s Hospice, as for every tree you collect, a member of the local community will have made a donation to the Hospice. By helping us to provide our Christmas Tree Recycling service, you will be helping to support compassionate end of life care for local people and their loved ones this festive season and beyond.
We couldn’t do it without you!
Our Christmas Tree Recycling scheme would not be possible without the support of our volunteers, generously giving up their time to help us make it a reality.
This year, in light of the current government guidance, we're really in need of household or support bubble teams of 2-3 people, where one person would be able to drive the collection van. The rest of the team would be helping to navigate a pre-planned route and physically help to load the trees in and out of the van.
If you have your own van, truck or trailer, then we would be so grateful if you were able to volunteer and drive it on the day. Please let us know when you register!
