Carole Kell, Mary Blake and Robert Blake
Among others is my mother, Gwen Milner, who did spend a considerable time under the care of the hospice. As soon as she entered the building, she visibly relaxed. One Christmas there was a carol service. Mum was in a bed with an electric pressure mattress. We had to keep plugging it in to keep it inflated and for her to go to the service. She was laughing the whole way round, it was hilarious. The last “plug-in” resulted in a malfunctioning of the mattress. She was still laughing.
