After her Auntie Sue was cared for at home by St Wilfrid’s Hospice back in 2016, Rebecca Figg, who was expecting a baby, came up with the idea of guessing the baby’s weight to raise money for St Wilfrid’s in memory of her Auntie.
Rebecca designed a form and asked friends, family and work colleagues to pay £1 per guess.
Rebecca’s daughter Bella was born on 20 February weighing 7lb 2oz.
1st prize, a family day entry to Butlins, was won by one of Rebecca’s father’s work colleagues, Rob, who guessed the exact weight of 7lb 2oz.
2nd prize, £30 Dimensions Hair Design voucher, was also won by another of Rob's colleagues, Ali, who guessed 7lb 3oz.
£100 was raised for St Wilfrid's in all, thank you Rebecca and Bella!
