Jenny Perry, Volunteer Legacies Administrator explains why she decided to start volunteering, “Having worked for several years as a legacy officer for a major UK cancer charity in London, when we relocated to take on a restoration project on the south coast I started chatting to our builders about the dedicated work of the local hospice, St Wilfrid’s. As Hospice care is dear to my heart, I got in touch to see if there was any work that I could help with. Gifts left in wills have a huge impact on the work of the hospice and it is tremendously rewarding to use my skills and training to help realise the legacies so generously left to St Wilfrid’s.”
