Over 100 patients, families, friends and staff visited our award winning garden on Sunday 8 July to help build a beautiful rainbow of messages to loved ones.
The afternoon gave the opportunity to take part in our children’s activities, visit our stalls and sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the garden.
Guests and visitors lined up to visit our tombola, sample the scones and pick out a prized new plant. A Spiderman, Batman and Rainbow coloured pig could be spotted among the face painted children running around the garden enjoying their ice creams!
This was the last time our annual event will be held at our current home in Donnington. The afternoon gave friends of St Wilfrid's the opportunity to remember loved ones and reflect on memories they have shared in our beautiful garden.
We are looking forward to inviting you to enjoy our new gardens, after we move into our new home in Bosham in 2019. Thank you for your continued support, see you soon! To see further details of the last three gardens in our Open Garden Project, please visit https://stwh.co.uk/support-us/events/
A great day with lots of fun filled activities for all age groups. It's so rewarding to see the community engaged with all our work, remembering loved ones and raising money for a great cause.
