On a crisp winters evening in January, Harbour Voices Community Choir gathered at St Paul’s Church, Chichester, for an evening of choral delights. The concert was held in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice DREAMBUILDING Appeal, which is raising funds to build a new Hospice in Bosham. The evening also celebrated the first anniversary of the Harbour Voices Community Choir, which was founded in January 2017 by Pam Sweet and Ben Lathbury – who is also the choir’s musical director.
The concert, which consisted of two 45 minute sets, included numbers from Les Miserable and The Beatles, all of which were beautifully sung by over 80 members of the choir. The wonderful, upbeat performance was the perfect pick-me-up for those January Blues. The sell-out event was attended by almost 300 people which were a credit to the incredible community support for both Harbour Voices and the DREAMBUILDING project.
This marvellous evening raised over £2,000 for the DREAMBUILDING Appeal.
Thanks again to Harbour Voices for hosting such a wonderful event. Please see the video above for the highlights of the evening.
