Furniture Outlet & Donation Centre at Terminus Road, Chichester

Do you have a keen interest in sustainability and recycling? Do you enjoy sorting and organising or have specialist knowledge in furniture, books, china/glass, art, fashion or love to upcycle?

Do you have time to help and would be happy to learn – we would love to hear from you!

As a member of the retail team, you’ll be helping us encourage the local community to provide care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse, recycle and upcycle!.

At our shop, you will have the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of the day-to-day running of the store including, but not limited to:

  • Meeting and welcoming our donors and customers
  • Manual handling and organising donations
  • Sorting and pricing
  • Stock replenishment
  • General customer service
  • Shop floor work
  • Processing sales (till work)

What is in it for you?

In return for your time and enthusiasm you will have the opportunity to be part of a supportive team that value the contribution of volunteers, gain new skills and experience, see the wonderful treasures that are donated to us, and most importantly contribute vital funds towards providing care at St Wilfrid’s Hospice for people in the community you live.

How much time does the role take up?

Why not arrange a taster session
