Race to the King is an epic ultramarathon taking in the South coast, South Downs Way, and Monarch’s Way. Choose from multiple combinations of 30km and 50km loops, or tackle the whole thing in a non-stop 100km challenge!

Sweeping chalk downs, stunning coastal views – the Race to the King course truly is fit for royalty. Taking place as close to the Summer Solstice (and the King’s birthday!) as possible, runners and walkers at Race to the King can make the most of almost 16 hours of daylight during which to make their way around the course.
