8th – 12th March 2023

About this adventure

This is your invitation to go on a breathtaking journey in search of the Aurora Borealis otherwise known as the Northern Lights.

Take on this challenging trek across snow covered landscapes, along mountain passes and past natural lakes in search of seeing the Northern Lights. On the route will be the opportunity to explore the famous Geothermal Valley and end at the pretty city of Reykjavik.

Why take on this adventure?

Taking on a trek like this can be a spiritual experience, especially if you wish to walk in memory of someone cared for by St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

You might be the kind of person that likes to take on hard challenges for the chance to test yourself and feel a sense of achievement.

Whatever the reason you may feel drawn to this adventure you will be fully supported for the entire journey – from sign up, through fundraising and then with the walk itself.

This special journey will take place from 8 – 12 March 2023, and all participants will be signing up to raise vital funds for St Wilfrid’s Hospice. The amount you raise could fund care on our hospice ward for a person for 3 days. For every day you trek you could fund specialist care for someone at the end of their life.
