This morning complements the knowledge and skills gained on the Management of Syringe Drivers course, which takes place in the afternoon.
The session provides an introduction to the assessment of some of the common symptoms experienced by people at the end of life, including pain, nausea and vomiting, respiratory secretions and terminal agitation. The workshop focuses on some of the key drugs prescribed to manage these symptoms.
Lunch will be provided for those staying for the Management of McKinley Syringe Drivers course.
