These virtual face to face sessions are for senior nurses and allied health care professionals who will be completing and signing the ReSPECT forms or who are key to contributing to the ReSPECT process in West Sussex. They can also, be attended by medical staff where needed.
- As of the 30th June 2021 the level 2 workshops are stopping until August 2021. Further details will be posted here when details available.
The session is subsequent to essential online pre-training and prior to ReSPECT competencies for senior nurses and allied health care professionals. It focuses on the difficult conversations element and case studies after an initial recap.
The sessions are via Microsoft Teams and last for 2 hours.
There are a limited number of spaces per session.
Please apply using the link below and you will receive an automated reply and we will send an email confirmation of the space two days in advance. For our hospice colleagues please ensure you complete the pre-course online learning via your hospice education platform and for all others please email us at email@example.com for details.
These sessions are funded by West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group and are currently focused on those working in the primary, community and care home sector in our first phase.
We are holding an expressions of interest list for colleagues working in the acute sector (please email firstname.lastname@example.org).
Please note for those in care homes the Care Home Matrons will be actually signing off these forms but RNs are very welcome to attend this session as it is recognised the vital role you play in having discussions prior to this point.
If you work within Sussex Community FT please apply via The Pulse only and again is subsequent to essential online pre-training (links will be sent out on booking with SCFT).
