Suitable for all staff who work in health and social care settings.
We will cover different strategies and methods to enhance communication and listening skills.
By the end of the workshop you will:
- be familiar with the communication principles used in supportive conversations
- be able to discuss how ways of communicating impact on the person
- understand methods for effective communication for the distressed patient/service user and /or family member
- be more confident in using these methods
If you work outside of Kent, Surrey, Sussex there will be a charge of £30 per person
