Suitable for all generalist palliative care staff and new staff working in health and social care settings.
This course can be used as a refresher for the principles of supporting bereaved adults or to gain/improve knowledge base. The focus will be on ensuring that following the death of someone close to them, people will be supported during the bereavement process, especially during Covid-19.
The specific challenges experienced by the bereaved adult during Covid-19 will be explored, with signposting to specific resources to support bereaved adults at this time, including West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group resources.
