This one day course is suitable for generalist palliative care staff and new staff working in health and social care settings. It is a useful background to empower you with the skills for any conversation in palliative and end of life care including ReSPECT.

We will be giving you:-

  • The opportunity to explore and practice challenging conversations sensitively in relation to end of life
  • To understand the differences in how people approach difficult situations
  • To enhance reflective practice and identify personal development needs
  • The synthesis of techniques to manage one’s own feelings and responses to difficult situations (emotional intelligence and resilience).

The day will build on Sage & Thyme and all foundation level communication courses.

This course will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams which can be booked below – please ensure that individual emails are supplied as we are unable to accept generic emails. After booking you will receive a joining link to the email address you have registered by the day before the event. This link is specific to the individual and we respectfully ask that this is not shared in anyway.
