Suitable for all those working in a non-clinical role in any health and social care setting.

This half day session covers different strategies and methods to enhance communication and listening skills in our day to day working life whatever your non-clinical role in health and social care.
This session is designed to complement SAGE & THYME® foundation level which gives you a model to
use if someone is upset or distressed in any way.

By the end of the workshop you will be:-

1. Be familiar with the communication principles used in supportive conversations.
2. Be able to discuss how ways of communicating impacts on the person.
3. Understand methods for effective communication for supportive conversations with patient/service
user and / or family member
4. Be more confident using these methods.
