What is TreeCycling?
TreeCycle is a fundraising event that helps to look after our local environment and supports St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
Local postcodes are invited to have their tree collected from their front lawn by our tree-mendous volunteers, who take it to be recycled into wood chippings and mulch to support local farmlands.
In exchange, we ask for a suggested donation of £15 to help fund our vital, free-of-charge hospice care services to the local community.
How TreeCycle helps support St Wilfrid’s
Making a donation for us to collect your tree, helps us, pay for the running costs of the Hospice’s services.
It costs over £10 million a year to run the Hospice. TreeCycle helps to raise money to cover these costs and allows St Wilfrid’s to continue to provide expert care and compassion to people with life limiting illnesses in the local community.
