Success for Chidham’s first ever fashion show!

On Saturday 28th October 2023, volunteers and staff at our Chidam Charity Shop bravely transformed themselves into models for the evening for their very first Charity Shop Fashion Show.

They showcased the incredible, high-quality second hand clothing we receive sell at all of our 12 charity shops.

Our wonderful models carefully curated their outfits for the fashion show, which were all items that had been kindly donated by the local community.

We had a fantastic evening at our Charity Shop fashion show. It was great to see the local community come together to celebrate second hand fashion, and it was a pleasure to showcase the array of high quality, pre-loved clothing that we receive at St Wilfrid’s. A huge thank you to our staff, volunteers and models for helping us put on a fantastic event.

Attendees had the opportunity to browse the entire shop after the fashion show, and purchase all of the items showcased on the night. They were even able to browse a special designer section with a selection of specially picked-out pieces.

Overall, the event raised a fantastic £1,001 for local hospice care through ticket, raffle, and clothing sales.

If you’re looking to start shopping more sustainably, we sell and accept the Charity Shop Gift Card at all of our Charity Shops, and on our online store, which makes second hand shopping even easier and accessible.

Every purchase helps a patient, and every donation makes a huge difference to local lives.

We have 12 charity shops at St Wilfrid’s, and several online outlets such as Depop and eBay. We sell high-quality, affordable items that have been kindly donated by the local community.
