We are seeking more volunteers to join our fun and friendly team, especially on Saturdays!

As a member of the team you will be helping us encourage the local community to reduce, reuse, recycle and upcycle!

At our shop, you will have the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of the day-to-day running of the store including, but not limited to:

  • Till Assistant, processing those important sales! (full training is provided)
  • Meeting and welcoming our donors and customers
  • Sorting and pricing
  • Stock replenishment
  • General customer service
  • Shop floor work

What is in it for you? In return for your time and enthusiasm you will have the opportunity to be part of a supportive team that value the contribution of volunteers, gain new skills and experience, see the wonderful treasures that are donated to us, and most importantly contribute vital funds towards providing care at St Wilfrid’s Hospice for people in your local community.

How much time does the role take up?
How often you volunteer is flexible. We also have regular duties available please see Shop Manager, Sue Painter for more details.

Why not arrange a taster session
You can register your interest in volunteering by using the button below or directly in-store, by applying you will be given a no-obligation taster session.
