An opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant has arisen within the Hospice Community Team.
Successful candidates will be able to offer the highest level of individualised holistic care to patients and their families and carers. Maintaining continuity of patient care which is planned and regularly assessed, we are looking for Healthcare Assistants to support the senior Hospice Community team ensuring we provide compassionate and attentive direct nursing in our patient’s home.
Experience of delivering care holistically for patients is desirable whether in the community /care home sector or the acute setting. Experience of working in palliative care is desirable but not essential as you will possess transferable skills to provide excellent compassionate care. As part of our professional team you will have the ability to demonstrate high standards of communication to respond to others in a supportive and people focussed working atmosphere.
