Mountains Warehouse Corporate Partnership - Alisa Lakeman-Ford

Mountain Warehouse is passionate about supporting the local communities where their stores and now have designed a collection of canvas bags with 100% of the profits from each bag sold in their Chichester and Bognor Regis stores to be donated to St Wilfrid's.

This month I thought I’d tell you all about what’s going on at Mountain Warehouse. Mountain Warehouse is the largest outdoor retailer in the UK with over 200 stores nationwide, serving over 4 million outdoor-loving customers a year. They cater for an extensive range of outdoor activities including walking, running, cycling, camping and skiing, selling a wide range of equipment and clothing for the whole family.

They have designed a collection of canvas bags in 5 eye-catching prints to be sold in all UK and Republic of Ireland stores, with 100% of the profits from each bag sold to be donated to a charity local to each store. We are delighted that the Bognor Regis and Chichester stores have both chosen us to benefit from the sales of these bags from September.

Each canvas bag is sold for £1.99 and 100% of the profits from each bag sold will be donated to us. So far Chichester has reached £107 and Bognor Regis has made £77.

As well as Mountain Warehouse, I wanted to remind everyone about Covers Help for Hospices charity campaign. It’s running this week, from 10 – 16 September. If you have any DIY or home improvements planned why not register with them and buy your supplies this week. For every purchase made, Covers will donate £5 to the Help for Hospices fund. You could also tell your builders that we will be holding our bacon butty stall on Wednesday 26 September outside the Trade Depot in Quarry Lane, Chichester. You can also buy your Covers Grand Draw raffle tickets and be in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes. Go to www.covers.biz/covers-help-for-hospices for more information.
