For health and social care professionals who have evidence of successful study at Level 5 within the last five years, and are currently working with patients/clients at the end of their life.
This level 6 course is Credit Rated by University of Greenwich for 15 CATS credits and is available at the cost of £400. We have a list of trust funds which often support our students financially, however early application to these trusts is essential. Alternatively, a payment plan can be set up for students who wish to pay in instalments.
This course provides students with the opportunity to develop their knowledge base and confidence in assessing and meeting the needs of patients/clients with dementia and their carers/families, from diagnosis to death and into bereavement.
Those wishing to take the course as part of the BSc (Hons) Professional Practice (Palliative and End of Life Care) at University of Greenwich will be required to have 120 Level 5 credits in a health and social care related subject. (This course can also be taken as a stand-alone course or even attendance only).
