Suitable for all health and social care professionals and all levels of support workers in the NHS, care or nursing homes, community, voluntary and domiciliary sectors in West Sussex.
This half day course focuses on the communication principles used in supportive conversations and how ways of communicating impact on the person. It will help students understand methods for effective communication for the distressed patient/service user and/or their family member and be more confident in using these methods.
